Inès Halimi impressed me from the very start with a musicality that is rare. After studying jazz voice with me in Lausanne, she went on to study classical voice. Her stunning voice encompasses brilliance as well as depth of expression, and she keeps thrilling and impressing me with her willingness to take risks and fully give herself on stage and in everything she does. There are singers that are so naturally moving in music that you cannot help but think they were born to sing. Inès Halimi is one of them.

Susanne Abbuehl

At the present she works with the French pianist Alix Logiaco with whom she is part of the L’Aimant duo.
During her jazz study Inès Halimi benefited from private lessons with Sara Lazarus and David Lynx.
In 2017 she performed alongside the singers Susanne Abbuehl and Lauren Newton for Music for 18 musicians by Steve Reich.
